Tarragona

Tarragona is a province of eastern Spain, in the southern part of the autonomous community of Catalonia. It is bordered by the provinces of Castello (Spanish: Castellon), Teruel, Zaragoza, Lleida (Spanish: Lerida), Barcelona, and the Mediterranean Sea. The province's population is 631,156 (2002), of whom about one-fifth live in the capital Tarragona. Some cities and towns in Tarragona province include Constantí, Reus, Falset, El Vendrell, Tortosa, Amposta. There are Roman Catholic cathedrals at Tarragona and Tortosa.
